And changable?
I had a boss who was very jolly when his eyes were green, but you didn't mess with him if they went a greyish brown.
He liked to appear severe, and one day he was scolding my co-worker and she just laughed at him. He tried not to smile, and admonished her again, but we were both giggling, and he rounded on me and said "You told her!"
The day before I had noticed that his eyes changed colour withhis mood and told both him and my co-worker.
He could never fool us after that.

I was going to pose the self same question MD....my eye colour changes with my mood.
Life isn't about how to survive the storm, but how to dance in the rain.

Egyptian women often ask me, if I wear changing colours of contact lenses, but I never thought of the mood being the reason. The colour of my eyes changes with the colurs of the clothes I wear.

My eyes are lots of colours. Over rall river mud I'd say - except when I'm very emotional. Then they are pea green.

One of my daughters has clear blue eyes, the other was born with black eyes which changed to brown after 6 weeks and then after several years to hazel .

It fascinates me , I had a friend with one eye green and the other hazel, and a dog with one eye blue and the other brown.

On our farm we have blue eyed black goats, which amazed me at first being used to yellow eyed ones.

The world is a wonderful place indeed. :)

I'm not even sure I know what my eye colour is! In my teens and twenties I used to think they were predominatly blue, but now I'd say predominatly green with a tendancy. I received a card once from someone describing my brown eyes.

Given the charachter descriptions, is there any wonder I'm a confused and mixed up women these days!

Sounds like some of us could confuse an iridolgist too!

:bp:
An English woman and I were once privileged to stay with a maasai tribe in Tanzania. The first day we had chai with an old woman, who could tell that my English friend had stayed in the country for a long time and I was just visiting. It was true, but we wondered how she knew, since I had a very deep sun tan and despite her Spanish blood my friend was pale next to me. It was the eyes, they translated, my skin had already become dark, but my eyes were still blue…
