Omar's used to sell them. I have also seen them in the photo shops but haven't been to one for a while so don't know which have them at the moment.

I've found that it is worth it to purchase lithium batteries. They DO last forever and then keep going.

My own experience with re-chargeables is that they wear out and wear down quickly once you start re-charing them. AND you'll need a recharger too.

I use Sanyo Eneloop rechargeable batteries. http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_sb_nos ... &x=21&y=20
They hold their charge for almost a year without use and last very well in my cameras and torches.

They have rechargable batteries in KZ (Metro) on TV street, they even have packs with the recharger included.

Excellent; they're on my shopping list for next visit. Any non-rechargable AA I've bought there when my rechargeables faded out on route, have died within a day. :x

I would suggest that you have one shipped to you. It is best to get them online so that you have a lot of choices. The Sanyo eneloop line looks quite good. I suggest that you stock a lot in case you would need them in the future.

If you are planning to stock them, drain them first and them charge them to full. I suggest that you get a digital charger to go with it as well.
