Hey up - what's going on

Many of you requested for the Photo Competition to be open again, yet no one as uploaded a photo yet

just seen this post Keefy, will try to find something

I can't get the damned donkey close enough to the socket to plug the fairy lights in!!

Don't worry DJK.......we will all find something I'm sure......just out of practice for 6 months.

Would normally try to post a picture in any competition but I don't do xmas bah humbug

I might have a pic but have never put one on Luxor4u so don't really know where to start, I'm not very computer literate

Just tried but says file to big or corrupt don't know what to do now

Thanks Tony I finally managed it I had to resize then that didn't work as it wasn't a jpeg but managed to find a jpeg copy in another album.

Hope you get it sorted Jo, Miriam has got things going and more will now follow. I have not yet got anything suitable but will do soon

The competition is now open for voting

I voted but am not sure I've voted correctly. Do you vote by RATING each picture out of 10? I voted for the top three (in my opinion) giving them 10, 9 and 8.

Do I vote for each picture? And is this how you do it? Rank them?

LLL - I believe you rate each picture out of 10 - you could give them all 10 if you wanted to. The votes for the picture is totalled and then divided by the number of people who voted for that picture. You could be nasty and give one picture 10 and only 1 point to all the others thereby increasing the chances of your choice winning.

LLL, Brian has summed it up but I would add that, for it to be fair and balanced, you should place a rating for EVERY entry (except your own if you have entered). I would also add that you should rate each picture on a scale of 1 to 10 on how each appeals to you.

A bit shy on entries but they all meet the subject from different points of view.

Now I've rated everybody! (I forgot and just voted on the top 3)
