I'm interested - the only thing I can think of using it for is barleysugar which I managed to avoid making. I've never felt the need to use liquid glucose or a lot of the sweet stuff in American cookery so pleeeeease tell us what it's for?

Just a thought...I seem to think that you can/used to be able to order duty free to pick up at your home airport. Might be worth looking at the Gatwick website for information.
