Photography on L4U and Getting Photos to Post on here

I was having some luck last night in getting photos onto L4U. The ONLY different was that in each case I got them on "I" had started the thread. Now that I'm trying to add photos to an existing threat L4U is not letting me.........soooooo I decided to try and see if I could get my white Lily pictures (in Misc) on here IF I start a NEW thread cause seeing as how Grandad, Brian and Kiya can.

Will see if my photo comes out cause am thinking that maybe my getting a photo posted on a thread here relates to ME starting the thread.....

Will Now hit the "submit" button and watch L4U work its magic.......

Nope - just didn't come out for me

I know that it is so frustrating for me that I really now don't bother much at posting photos. Mostly I'm just curious as to what in cyber world is going on that Ican't get a photo to show........hhhhhhhheeeeeeeellllppppppp

Ive no idea why the photos are not showing, i just pressed edit on your post then pressed submit without altering anything and they showed.

What browser are you using, do you have Java installed ?

wowwwwwwww unbelieveable, really truly I'm at a loss to know "WHY" I can't get photos to come out. Had no problem last night but today was only getting the line and no photo.

I do have Java installed and all is up to date as I do updates regularly.

why don't you upload your pics to your "Personal Album" instead of putting them in "Misc", just a thought .

I only opted for the Misc album cause it seemed the most generic album to upload to and I actually didn't want to be messing up the other albums (if they had a specific purpose) with my photos. And I don't think I realized there was a 'personal' album. (I'm kinda thick

) Will check there and see cause I 'swear' I'm uploading the same way all the time. Just sometimes they come out and sometimes not.......

And - since Keefy is going to do an upgrade of the software are we going to be able to continue with our "photography" thread for a while anyway or will we hit a time we can't get photos on here?

AND - partly I have no idea as to the techie part of what I'm going to suggest but when I started taking photos my daughters suggested I put them on Facebook cause all you have to do is attach them to an email (with a destination that is specifically linked to your personal album) and send it and "voila" your photo appear under your name on Facebook. For me it was the simplicity of it all. Any chance that could be done here as well? The eliminates all the upload, download, saving, renaming etc. BUT I have no idea as to the complexity of this.

Thanks Keefy for making my photos come out. I'm game to try anything to get them on here, just have NO idea 'why' half the time they just do not.

In a way, I feel that it's rather sad that more people are posting pictures to threads like this than the photo competitions - and many of them are of the same nature, flowers or ducks!. Some are excellent, I agree, but variety is the spice of life!
