My wife ( she who thinks she must be obeyed ) has asked me to buy her a book about Tutankhamun for her birthday amongst many other things.
There are so many about, does anybody know of any decent ones?

Tutankhamen: Life and Death of a Pharaoh by Christiane Desroches-Noblecourt is my favourite.

I'd suggest The Complete Tutankhamen by Nicholas Reeves.

was about to suggest a book and realised it was the samw one that moonstone mentioned, mine was printed in 1972 and cost all of £3. Was given to me by a friend. I think its a really good book although things known about Tutankhamun have change since it was written. The book also has many photos of finds from his tomb
