All in all about £150 squid and there's alot of all in all, the ducks were free, I mean I didn't want bloody ducks, but it's a bit difficult and rude to say, 'no ta, I've had rabbits given to me they died, a chicken called brian he ate anything and everything, till we ate brian, pigeons breeding like rabbits, 6 warrens very discreet and a house-cat with no-name, he suffers me and the menagerie.

Aquaphobic Ducks
This sophisticated dish is perfect for dinner guests. The sauce can be prepared ahead of time and the duck seared right before serving. A glass of Chablis enhances the meal. or Stella J'preferer
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 35 minutes
Total Time: 45 minutes
Ingredients:
* ¼ cup granulated sugar
* 2 tablespoons water
* 2 tablespoons Sherry vinegar
* 1 ½ cups orange juice
* 2 tablespoons shallots, minced

* 4 oranges, sections cut from membranes
* 2 duck breast halves, seasoned with salt and pepper
* ¼ cup unsalted butter
* 2 tablespoons orange zest

I've been sitting watching & learning about my ducks, their reactions to aqua-living, and whilst pondering the flotation and nature of my big canal, my thoughts wandered to returning to blighty,
I would love to hear from the first passengers on the first flight into UK airspace, if of course your not 'up to your neck's in british soil....
