What does a young girl - or a young boy - know about future consequences? How happy and content is a young girl who needs to be coerced by a middle man working at a hotel? I have met male tourists staying at Luxor hotels who have been offended by staff offering very young girls from their villages. It is a shame.Dusak wrote:Whatever the reasons, its their decision to take the plunge. Re: How to marry in Egypt the traditional way
What was shocking was the very young Syrian girls (8 - 12yrs) wondering the streets, looking well fed and dressed carrying sweets etc, they tried begging off us, I was so shocked that the guys were happy to give them money etc... (my point being no young Egyptian girls were wandering begging off the local men) they said they are poor, I said find their mother and give the money!!!! God knows what they will eventually end up selling or worse.BENNU wrote:What does a young girl - or a young boy - know about future consequences?
