It wasn't sorbet so I am not quite sure what you are talking about, unless you were watching Chef Andrew on Fatafeat this morning as he made a smoothie from watermelon and lemon sorbet....

You gave a recipe for semi freddo a few weeks ago and I bought some watermelon yesterday and made a sorbet after remembering your thread.
Mash up half a big watermelon with cup of lime juice and 2 cups of sugar.
Put in container and half freeze, then liquidize it again and re freeze in ice lolly moulds and little tubs.

Lordy - but that sounds good!
(And slightly healthier than that tub of yoghurt ice cream I can hear screeching to be let out of the freezer!)

[face=Comic Sans MS]That sounds lovely and refreshing. Ideal in the Egyptian temperatures at the moment.

it's there Scott
you know you could even put the mix in ice cube trays and have it with your drinks

shove a cocktail stick in them and float one in a G and T for the drinkers.
Make lollies like I have done
