[face=Comic Sans MS]Heres a recipe for Mango that doesn't matter if you get all a bit squashy.

Goes well with Chicken Curries as a bit of a cooler and neautraliser but very good on it's on as a refreshing and nutrtious drink.[/face]

Blend together a mango, 100g natural yogurt, 100ml milk, 1 teaspoon sugar (optional) and the seeds from 1 or 2 cardamom pods.

[face=Comic Sans MS]I haven't tried it yet, but I think coconut milk would work very well as a substitute for some or all of the milk.[/face]

Hmmmmm!

Sounds nice! And I've got all the ingredients in the cupboard too for a change! I'm going for the coconut milk version.

[face=Comic Sans MS]Let us know how it is with the coconut milk as that's my idea. :D I think it would be good with banana too. :)

In India and Turkey they make a wonderful lassi with almonds (which again would go with the mango or apricot). :) [/face]

I'd be curious to hear how it comes out and whether it tastes like Yoppa or Zabado. I love drinking those things but they are so expensive now that it might be cheaper, and healthier, to make them oneself.

[face=Comic Sans MS]I don't know what Yoppa or Zabado are - are they trade names for products or are they the actual product ie a drink called Yoppa.

Smoothies have become very popular in the UK over the last few years but it's something that other cultures have had in one format or other for centuries.[/face]

[face=Comic Sans MS]Thanks Goddess.

The good thing about makeing your own is that you really do know what goes into it and you can make it as thick or as runny as you want.[/face]
