I like the one that you so often see on sun dials fountains and the likes:
The kiss of the sun for pardon
The song of the birds for mirth
One is nearer to God's heart in the garden
Than anywhere else on earth

MY walls outside must have some flowers,
My walls within must have some books;
A house that's small; a garden large,
