Usually can only be made by very old Yemeni mothers: yeh right.
15-20 hot peppers (serrano)
2 garlic cloves
3tbsp. ground dried coriander
2tbsp. ground cumin
2tbsp. cloves
2tbsp. salt
a few seeds of cardamom
1/2 cup stock
2 red bell peppers
big bunch cilantro
virgin oil
Bung it all in a blender..age it...use it...
Harrissa it ain't.. 8)

Halloumi kebabs!!! Yumm!!!

Are you really going to go to the trouble of making the Kofta, felafel and Dolma though??
Takes me ages to make all of them from fresh! Far too lazy! I run round to the Grilling shop and buy them!

You can get some great packet mixes for falafel for about a pound. Dead easy to make and are really tasty too. Most high street supermarkets now stock them.

thats good, Ive not seen any. The falafels in Holland and Barratt and M&S are a bit bland, I usually roll them in some extra spices!

One lot is made by a company called Al Fez, which I think I bought from Asda and another box is by Al wadi from Tesco, I think. Both of these supermarkets where I live have a world food isle and I found them there. Good luck with the search. (both boxes make about 15-20 falafels each depending upon size.)
