Morrocan Samosas!!

Post by DesertRose »

What you will need;

A whole red chilli
An orange pepper
1 onion
Half a sweet potato
Philo Pastry
A pan
A wooden spoon

The method!

First of all make sure all of your vegetables a chopped up as small as a pea.

Then make sure the philo pastry is rolled out flat in a long rectangle.

Then put one dessert spoon of sunflower oil into the pan and put in all your vegetables, stir frying them gently.

Take the vegetables of the cooker after you have heard them sizzle. Add any indian sauces or spices, to add a little flavour.

Now, get your philo pastry. Put two spoonfull's of vegetables onto the bottom right hand side. Gently pull the corner up so it joins the oppisite side, making a neat triangle. Carry on doing so until the samosa is tightly squeezed inside it's package.

Next, grease a baking tray and place your samosas onto it. Cook under medium temperture for 10 - 15 minutes. Take out when light brown colour.

Place on a plate for 15 minutes to cool down before eating them.

Oh yeah! You can also make or buy a chilli dip for your samosas!
