I saw the governor on tv yesterday and he said 90 percent of the street cameras in Luxor had been installed so far, making the city safer....

Installation does not equal operating and there of course has to be a 'competent operator viewing theses cameras all 90 of them without falling asleep, safer ? I doubt it.
As opposed to London which stands at around one camera for every 14 people, adding up to a total of about 422,000 cameras, the difference is the ability for the police to respond to offences and accidents viewed…. :cool:
