 at andy's photo! We got snow like that last week, but by the time I got out of the house at 7.30, the sidewalks were already sweeped :) I'm so glad I live in Finland ;)

For anyone that is fed up with snow already, I would like to predict that it will be vanishing never to be seen again in the next couple of days at least until early Jan when I return to Egypt!

I'm super excited at the chance of seeing a spot of snow!!!!

Lovely seascapes Kiya ....I took a few today not put them up yet - lovely looking across the sea to the snow topped fells :)
Heres a couple I took yesterday - I love the contrast of the colour with the white snow

The really good news is that there's lots more wintry weather to come, and it may last until xmas! :) :D

Its colder with each day passing, after last nights heavy showers of snow nothing had shifted this morning proving its really freezing, living by the sea normaly the salt air would have turned it to a horrible squish by now.
Its just started again & I cant see the horizon through the snow.
Any distortion you see in pics is snow falling.

Kiya we are really getting to know that bench and lamp posts outside your house. :)

Really looks very gloomy up there today. We had about 15 cm's last night so it has at last reached the South East. Will sort a few pics out to post soon.

Here are a few from this mornings monochrome world of snow and leaden skies......

The River Stour at Canterbury (Near Sainsburys, Mrs G was shopping)

Along the river bank.

Ducks and Mr Ratty.

Free for all at feeding time.

I must add that these are 'as shot' so framing might be subject to comment. I used the little compact that I keep in the car and even that refused to work until I warmed it in my pocket.

Not only airports and railways that don't work when we have snow. :) :) :)

Nice pictures Miri.:) You are lucky to have some sun and blue sky to add colour to your pictures. Here, it tends to be very grey when we have snow and everything looks black and white. :(

Thanks Grandad!! :D I don't know much about photo. Blue sky is great but actually we want overcast weather now to insulate a bit ... Feels cold as on planet Uranus here...

WOW!! Gorgeous! Love 'em all and particularly like Grandad's photo of the poor old ducks standing on the snow.

Miri - your cat sure doesn't look too please but he (or she) is definitely fluffy enough to deal with the snow and cold! ;):):):)

All the snow here has melted now. Am left with sandy dirty roads from all the sand that was spread to keep the cars from sliding off into the ditch. Nothing looks clean anymore. Guess that is what I love about fresh snow. It really gives a wonderfully clean look to the world!

The cat on the picture above here is my neighbour's , and I find it worrying that he is always outside :( Well , he can go inside the stables, but still cold for a small kitty cat. You can see my cats on some winter pics I put in the "general" section ;)

Hey Kevin, didn't know you were from Cornwall - where is that in the photo, can't make it out.
