Plum jam is very easy to make. I know because I made some and I'm not any sort of cook. It sets very easily and is scrumblicious! I love stewed plums and custard too.

The Red and Green Pepper jam sounds just right.
I'll have to make some of my chilli jam to go with the cheese and crackers.

I have tried strawberry jam here for the last three years all a disaster as I couldnt find Pectin. However I have picked up a tip recently. Add a peeled, cored and diced apple, green if possible. You wont taste the apple in the finished product but apple being high in pectin it will set the jam.

A clever trick Tony
Regarding the red and green pepper jam, you have to be so careful here as those peppers can often turn out to be hot chillies! Yes, we have been caught a few times

Ooh, just beat me to it, Tony! And make sure your fruit is as fresh as possible, especially strawberries.

Pectin is
the magic ingredient.
