Canned mushrooms are great if you are making an English breakfast - bacon, eggs, tomatoes, mushrooms etc! Empty the salty water out, and rinse a few times, and then put the mushrooms in a dish with tissues at the bottom, and leave to dry for a while in the sun. Then they fry quite well!
