We brought some of the packet mixes of felafel back from Luxor with us this time but not tried them yet.
Made Kushari this week and it was lovely but just not the same as eating it in Luxor as a take out in a plastic carton When I was expecting Karime I used to have a bowl every night no wonder he loves it too
I was so happy to see that there was a Kushari place opening not far form MIL's house when we were there last month. It wasn't open yet when we were there though, otherwise I would have been down there every night

I totally agree about Koshari, MM - It should ONLY be eaten out of a plastic pot. Even tipping it out of the container seems tomake it loose some of the good taste!

I just love it when it comes with the bonus of the added pots of lemon juice and chilli.

I was struggling thinking of something to cook to eat later - but looks like it might be take away Koshary now!
