I was reading some history on the street where I lived, in the 17th C known as "Jack Ketch's Warren"
Jack Ketch was the hangman around that time.
Anyhow bacon, one of my favorites is St John's 'nose to tail eating, it used to be a 'smokery.
Bacon only came onto fashion in the 19th 20th century and it all happened around here, see my attatchment....

Well not sure it would work for British Z as our bacon is very different from yours. Think yours is more like what we call Candaian bacon, which is close to ham. But Turkey sausage can hold its own....
