Hello everyone,
Hope you are all well, I was wondering if someone who lives in Luxor could tell me if they have ever heard the saying "addict of Hassan Al dannoun" is it the name of a wine,beer, spirit or maybe a street drug. Or is it gibberish. Thank's to you all jx

Teddy Bear, could you give more context please. It might help in understanding it better. I can't say that I've heard the expression before though.

Thank you for your reply, I was not sure myself what it meant.
I was speaking to my friends daughter on WhatsApp and she said her father who died recently was an addict to "Hassan al dannoun" . I asked her to explain this but she didn't seem able to translate the meaning.
I was talking last night with my good friend Abeer in Cairo and she was not sure what she meant, she is now going to ask her daughter who is in her 20's if she knows what it might mean. Then I thought I would ask here incase it was some kinda slang used on the West Bank.
