So now cast your eyes away from covid and let's see what that Putin is up to now.
Of course, the Ukrainian situation is far more complex than the good old news will admit to.
You are correct John, the Ukrainian situation is very complex to say the least, and people should look very carefully with an open mind. In recent weeks N.A.T.O. has been blockading the Russian fleet not just in the Black Sea, but also in the Baltic.
The E.U. has been extending its authority throughout Eastern Europe for years to those poor countries with promises of great wealth if they join the 'club', where even today the horse and cart is the main means of transport for the average Joe. The reason Russia is putting up a stand is because Ukraine is in the 'back yard' of Russian's Black Sea main military bases.
It is obvious that once the E.U. takes over Ukraine, N.A.T.O. will deposit its missiles directly opposite the Russian naval bases. This is almost like Russia promising every person on the Isle of Wight £1,000,000 to vote for the Communist Party, then Russia depositing missiles there on its north shore opposite Portsmouth along the Solent.
The E.U.'s policy is to build a buffer zone between the wealthy West and the poor East, but is the West prepared to put up the required military support ? The U.K. along with U.S.A. and a few other countries have sent military hardware and troops, but the richest country in Europe, Germany, sent 5,000 military helmets,........even the president of the Ukraine publicly asked "Is this a joke".
Australia, U.K.,and the U.S.,(A.U.K.U.S.) know there is an upcoming serious problem coming soon in the Pacific, Japan is a spent force, the U.S. State of California is the fifth richest country in the world, and China will watch the Ukraine situation very carefully to choose whether the time is right to invade Taiwan, which history shows, it's there's by right.
We are living in strange times, let's hope for the best.
