My wife and I have visited Egypt 7 times. Our last trip in 2018 we rented and apartment on Luxor's west bank (Rhamla) and stayed for almost 2 months. Lovely country, friendly people and incredible sites. We've made many friends and it saddens me to see how Covid has affected their livelihood. I pray that the situation will improve soon and tourism can resume.
I wish that we weren't so far away; we are getting older which makes travel all the more difficult... We may not return to Egypt again, but we will always have our wonderful memories.
