Hurghada turns into a ghost city due to an inspection committee from Cairo .

The commercial movement in Hurghada witnessed a state of confusion, as many shops closed their doors to citizens most of the day, due to a big inspection committee coming from Cairo, which is inspecting for violations related to : taxes, supplies, health and safety

Hussein El-Melegy one of the Hurghada Residents said that the city witnesses a state of confusion over the past three days, which is still ongoing as a large number of shops are closed, due to the fear of the inspection committees that include a number of bodies that impose fines on the shops.

Khaled Al-Sibai, a merchant, added that the large amounts of fines are a major reason for the fear of the shop owners, as they reached 600 thousand pounds for a spare parts store and 40 thousand pounds for a sanitary ware shop.

Mahmoud Al-Sherbiny, the owner of a cafeteria, explained that the owners of the shops have done a group on "WhatsApp" to follow the path of the committee and close the shops before they arrive
