According to undisclosed sources moves are afoot to appoint new governors......this after the big shuffle last year. I have some doubts about this post....and will correct later if necessary.
As usual, heavily weighted in favour of retired major general with a smattering of doctors (of engineering probably)
Informed sources confirmed that the new governors names will be announced today, and that it is expected to appoint 13 new Governor .
It was confirmed already from various sources that the new Governor for the Red Sea is Major General Amr Hanafi . The formal agent at the Egyptian intelligance service.
The below are the new governors names for the other governorates :
Major General Muhammad Sharif,
Major General AH Khaled Shoaib
Major General AH Sharif Bishara
Dr. Ayman Abdel Mawgoud
Major General Ashraf Attia Abdel Bari
Dr. Neven Kabbaj
Dr. Amr Othman
Major General Abdullah Abdul Ghani
Dr. Ayman Mokhtar
Major General Mohamed Ali Hussein
Dr. Rady Abdel Moaty
The sources pointed out that the governorates affected by the change Monofiya, Kafr El-Sheikh, Alexandria, Ismailia, Aswan, Beni Suef, Luxor, Red Sea, Matrouh, Qalyubia, Beheira, Giza and Cairo.
The sources added also that the number of 18 young leaders of the presidential program will be appointed deputies to a number of governors, noting that the deputies were trained and qualified to work in senior leadership and executive positions.
It is scheduled that the governors and their deputies will be sworn in before President Abdel Fattah El Sisi within hours, followed by a meeting with him to start the assignments and work to implement them to complete the development process.

Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian president Abdel Fattah El-Sisi appointed sixteen new governors on Wednesday, according to state-run television.
The newly-appointed governors include Abdel Hamid Abdel Aziz as governor of Qalyubia, Gamal Nour EL-Din as governor of Kafr El-Sheikh, Essam Saad El-Din as governor of Assiut, Ahmed Abdullah El-Ansary as governor of El-Fayoum, Tarek Rahmy as governor of Gharbiya, Tarek El-Feky as governor of Sohag, Mohamed El-Sherif as governor of Alexandria, and Khalid Shoaib as governor of Matrouh.
