Hawass is off again!
Not content with taking bulldozers to the Valley of the Kings.....where he “knows” Nefertiti and other renowned 18th Dynasty alumni are buried.....but he’s now certain that the void in the Great Pyramid ( discovered with muon technology in 2017) contains the body and associated goodies of Khufu.
After all, his sarcophagus was ”discovered” empty. Q.E.D. !!
“This year, August, an excavation team discovered a huge chamber in the Great Pyramid of Giza also known as the Pyramid of Khufu, who was the pharaoh of the Fourth Dynasty and ruled from 2589 BC to 2566 BC. Dr Zahi Hawass, a world-renowned archaeologist believe that the missing remains of Khufu could actually be hidden in this void, as earlier researchers discovered nothing more than an empty sarcophagus from the pyramid.”

Most archaeologists think this void, and others - which radar and other technologies have indicated- are part of the weight- relieving techniques which the ancients employed to prevent the weight of the pyramid crushing the burial chambers and connecting galleries.
But that would be too boring for the world’s greatest Egyptologist who is determined - come he’ll or high water - do or die - to seal his career with an unparalleled discovery.
Great Pyramid may yet yield Khufu’s mummy!
