One winner was Liberty Kitchen based in HMP Pentonville.

Now, Pentonville is the only London Prison that contains it's own bakery.
Whist there partaking of her Maj's hospitality our main interest was in 'nicking the yeast, not an easy venture.
I mean they even have padlocks on the fridges...lol
So, they now have their own meatball factory. what next ?
Their stall is in Leather Lane Mkt Clerkenwell, 'la whaala!
We conned our landing screws to invest in a sandwich toaster for their breakfasts.
Little did they know 1 for them 2 for us...

Re: The BBC Food & Farming Awards.
My favorite restaurateurs as you all know are Trevor & Fergus of St John's fame.
Spoken by Tony Bourdain simply as 'The Restaurant..
Sad and strange that he hung himself, nevertheless he was a really nice guy..
https://www.standard.co.uk/go/london/re ... 75246.html..
Here is a review:
Bourdain ate at more restaurants than most in his lifetime, and in every corner of the globe – but not one of them beat St. John in Clerkenwell. Bourdain frequently referred to the east London spot as his “favourite restaurant in the world”, with special admiration bestowed to chef Fergus Henderson, who he termed in The Layover as his “spiritual leader”. Bourdain returned to Henderson’s influential, offal-celebrating cooking in each of his London documentaries, gleefully extolling the virtues of blood cake, pigs head pies and, his favourite, the iconic dish of bone marrow on toast with parsley salad.

Ps: The pic is of myself & Nick presenting Fergus & Trevor with The Head of St John the Baptist on a Plate.
It's still in their office as they will not have any form of art hung on their restaurant's walls,
and that's why I like them....
Pss: Another famous customer, Y B Artist Angus Fairhurst also hung himself, but from a tree..
