Just listening to the news and a government spokesman, when discussing people trying to leave the country to join Da'esh, on being prevented described them as "frustrated travellers".
Frustrated travellers? Prospective murdering ********, evil so and so's but political correctness has gone too far when they are described as frustrated travellers.
Now things really have gone to far

I haven't heard that conversation, or the context, but....
if I had used such terminology, I would expect it to be taken as "facetious"
Or added something along the lines of "cultural sun-seekers" etc.
I remember Boris referring to radicalised muslims as "sexually frustrated losers".

The only true 'frustrated travelers' are the ones that have just been given the get out of town in seven days visa stamp.
