He says that he is "conflicted" between his role as a political leader and living the life of a faithful Christian.
Let me break that down for you -
He has bigoted views on homosexuality which isnt a good view for a "liberal" politician to have.
Yet again, i suspect he will get a free pass on his bigotry because hes "religious" and hes not homophobic its just what he believes.
All bigoted people are so because its what they believe.

Not really, its what the party and their supporters believe, they are not pretending to be Liberal whilst holding illiberal views.
Doesnt make them any more acceptable and i wouldn't have anything to do with them myself.

I agree, good riddance, another useless MP who wants to have a re-run of anything that he does not agree with. He and Sturgeon plus Salmond stood on a manifesto of ignoring the referendum vote, the voters rejected them all big time.
