Hi. I haven't been on the forum in such a long time. I'm coming to luxor at the end of June. As I'm so out of touch can anyone tell me the approx price of a taxi from luxor airport to luxor temple please?

Is that a typo Bombay? It looks a very odd figure to me, but it has been rather a long time since I got a taxi from Luxor aiport to the temple too!

The topic has been addressed before :

Since then prices may have doubled.....but so has the EGP to GBP rate.

Agree the price before you get in and you can't go far wrong.

Niletraveller, welcome back. It was good to see a post from you again.

As you can see, it would seem that the fare is about LE100. Unfortunately, although many taxis are newer veheicles they still do not have meters so all fares are still dependant on your haggling skills too.
