How old is your son Zooropa? If he's a young teenager and into beach holidays I am sure he would love Hurghada.
Carrie, hes 20.

Im not too sure what hes into to be honest and whatever it is he is into its likely to be further narrowed when applied to "being with your old man".

I only know that asking him to look at tombs and temples would likely make his eyes bleed.

20, well he should enjoy Hurghada just so long as his old man doesn't tag along

Tommy Cook fares are horrendous. My agent was quoting me around £650 return from Brum during August. Oh yes baggage, 20kg at £25 each way and £15 a kilo excess charges. If you want something to eat and drink that's extra as well. Work it out for yourself. Qatar to Oz is about the same price.

Doesn't make a difference unless you want to go to Australia instead of Hurghada.

I think you'll find August fares from other airlines for direct flights from UK are expensive.

Supply & demand.

Im finding prices very fluid at the moment.

If i had booked my LHR - CAI, CAI - LXR, LXR - LHR flights a few days ago i could have got £815.00 for two people.

Because i have to wait until later today/tomorrow before my son can confirm holiday approval from his work i cant book.

Checked again now and its risen to £876.00.

You need to remove cookies on your pc these sometimes show you have looked before and may alter the prices.

I remember that post and have kept it in mind when searching for flights and hotels, but I have not noticed prices changing.

My Egyptair flight became more expensive because it took me so long to decide when to leave, that the cheapest tickets were gone on most departures.

"in private browsing" is just there so that no one can see what you have been looking at on the Internet on that particular computer. :up

Handy for teenagers to use in the evening, and purchasing gifts for significant others..... :br

The problem with clearing all your cookies is that you might remove important cookies that you rely on, for example: forums use cookies to keep track of what you have read, so when you connect again it will show you posts that you have not read.

Carrie, the option is found via the options menu in your browser so, for example in Internet Explorer:

Click on the "cog" icon and then select "internet options".

Under the "general" tab select "delete browsing history"

Then finally select the "delete cookies" check box and click ok/apply.

Regardless of your browser the process will be much the same.

If you get stuck a quick search on how to do this on Google will give you access to instructions.
