Re: El Gouna
I thought it was a very nice place and enjoyed my stay there but don't really want to stay there again too clean and sterile not "Egyptian" enough for me.

You could always kick over a few wheelie bins and dump the contents in the marina....so you feel more at homecarrie wrote:I thought it was a very nice place and enjoyed my stay there but don't really want to stay there again too clean and sterile not "Egyptian" enough for me.

Re: El Gouna
Great film cheers for that.
They say he can often be seen around asking guests about El Gouna...
It's great for a stop over and on the surface seems a success, but talking to many business people there from
Luxor, they say it's not like it was, but then where is ?
And it's fun but you wouldn't want to live or invest there.
Unless one has money to throw away, which seems to be the case with all those wasted floating gin palaces.
Mind you there are some very very tasty bateau's, some just right for smuggling runs others for selling down under.
Personally it's a waste and goes to show there's 'more money than sense.....
Ps: His brother would have made a pretty good President.
