Tomato Ketchup

A few weeks ago a friend told me that Tomato Ketchup was good for cleaning brass. When I ran out of cleaner yesterday I decided to give the Tom Ketchup a go not believing that it would work. Well it does. Clean shiny brass now just a quick wipe over with it and then a bit of a dip in water. Brill.

Tomato sauce, tomato paste or tomato juice works just as well. ( because of the citric & malic acid in tomatoes)
