The Eye of Ra
Michael Asher's novel with the above title, published 2000 by Harper/Collins may be of interest to some - it includes a lot of references to Akhenaten, Tutankamun, etc., especially in the 2nd half.

Plenty of murders.
A spaceship from Sirius B buried in the Western Desert. ....on which Akhenaton arrived millennia ago....all sorts of hokum.
