Psalm/ Amarna Letters
I wad reading the good word yesterday and I read the book of Psalms and throughout it I was hearing about battles identical to those of the end of the Amarna period ot made me wonder is the book the recording of those events.

Re: Psalm/ Amarna Letters
Traditional (old) chronology would place Amarna in the 14th C BCE and Psalms in 11th-10th C BCE. But under the "New" Chronology of David Rohl and others it is possible that Amarna was 11th C BCE. It is thought by NCists that Labaya of the Amarna letters might be Saul. I don't have access to my library while here in Egypt, but will see if I can locate some links.
