Beautiful Era

Post by Bullet Magnet »

The 70's were indeed a Beautiful Era, and translated back from French this is Belle Epoque

Well, the Irony is strong with this one.. :wi

A p1ssed up cougar, with a hint of bitterness in her face, and probably dropped a few 'shrooms before taking to the stage, and the almost literal translation of the song in the dance moves push the bounds of incredulity to the absolute fricking limit's. Especially for the PC Brigade. God Love 'em..

I suggest strapping yourself into your chair before you hit the play button.. :cg
The song is unnecessarily long, so I presume they were all getting paid by the hour.. :tk

It was obligatory in the 70's to throw a few choccy biccies into the mix to have a song taken seriously as a Disco song.. :br

One of my old time favourites, but they certainly made a mess of it.

It looked like a rehearsal!
The girl on the right and the chap were the only ones who looked remotely as if they knew what they were doing.
As for the "lead singer" a disaster!

I didn't like it much.

They say music can "Calm the savage beast"
This particular gem has the exact polar opposite effect on me, but I had to watch it again last night to see if it was as bad as I remembered.. I, was not disappointed.
The comments as crude as they may be, plus the defending comebacks make far better viewing than this video.

The two accompanying dancers certainly stood out from the other two, if you get my drift. :P

Liberating times the 60's and 70's Dusak.... :br
.
Then came the 80's and people sought liberation through money... :mo . Probably not the wisest move... :cg

So, back to a more decent type of Song from that beloved era..

A great Glaswegian band, the founder of which ended up in this neck of the woods, co owning a SAAB garage, and being married to a cockney lass, which given the two dialects, the communication broke down, and they divorced a few years later..

And not even a dress rehearsal at that! A couple of pairs of "over the shoulder peanut holders" might have been appropriate. 8)

Have to disagree on that sentiment Mr. Yare for as 'long' as the swingers do not nudge the kneecaps, without is better. An orchid is a beautiful flower to behold, but once it starts to droop, that beauty is lost forever.

The first 2 songs are actually so bad that they are good, but you need the eyes to see and the ears to hear.

Like this song, a Ginger, American bird, performing some strange actions to a cliche type song.. Not is all as it appears.... :tk
