I've not dabbled with any Haiku for a quite a while. This morning however I seem to be thinking about everything in a haiku pattern.
Have you ever had a go at haiku? It can be quite therapeutic.
Dabble with Haiku
Place syllables in order
Japanese style lines
Wind blows through the trees
Trees bend their trunks in defence
Fences are blown over
Pot calls Kettle black
Kettle calls Pot demeaning
Wooden spoon whacks both
Fingers pound the keys
Keyboard remembers the strokes
Words form on the screen
Abbreviations
Shorten the language format
Do not enhance it
Daffodils shine bright
Sun strikes the bed of trumpets
Beech tree shadows all
Pink elephant moves
Through the many pages here
Wanders and wonders
Coffee Break Haiku

Cherry blossom falls
Confetti blown on the wind
Tears shed on pavement
