This is Ayre St in Clerkenwell 1/2 mile from Fagin's haunt on the Fleet River.
The old girl sitting on the right would now be sitting outside Ben Shermans HQ.
(they still have a lambretta LI 150 in their reception)
And on the opposite side of the road to were the 'copper is standing is The Gunmakers Arms still there still selling great beers.

At the top of the hill on the left is Agent Provocateur's trendy showroom/warehouse and at the bottom Chappels who still make pianos to this day…
A pal of mine once told me that she and her pals' stole cheeses from the back of the Italian deli and rolled them down that hill..
