Re: Walking the Nile.
I noticed posts on Luxor News yesterday about this. Must check out the programmes on Ch4. and see if I can catch up with the series.

Re: Walking the Nile.
His stomach problem must have cleared up as he and his crew where eating like there was no tomorrow in our famous curry house last night. And no, I didn't ask for his autograph as he didn't ask for mine.

5am might be a tad early now that daylight-saving time is again in place.Who2 wrote:Bright & early 5am ballooning tomorrow with the premier Balloon Company, and we all know who's that is,

Hope they enjoyed themselves. Nice to see that you are once again closer to the stratosphere than the rest of us MD, hope things keep on the up and up for you.

Re: Walking the Nile.
Well the whole team had a brilliant night last night at JJ's Bar in Karnac before an early start off North, so good bye Luxor...

Yes, I realise that now. I read something elsewhere that lead me to think that some of the earlier part of the walk had already been aired. Mind you, I'm likely to forget to look in Jan or Feb 2015 so may still have to use 'catch up' somewhere along the line. Alas, I don't have access to the Discovery channel.

And not a taxi, felucca or motor-boat driver in sight. Not even a pesky scarf or post-card seller!DJKeefy wrote:Walking The Nile by Levison Wood walking towards Luxor.

Nice pictures, but nothing recent. Will he have to wait for the FCO to change its travel advice before he crosses Middle Egypt?Who2 wrote:In today's Guardian...
