Re: Mohamed El Baradei has resigned!
This just shows what a weak and selfish man he is, and barely capable of making any significant leadership decisions, he seemed more concerned with his own self interest than that of the Egyptian people, he is trying to dissassociate himself from the massacre, whereas instead this implicates him even further.
Interesting though just the effect all this has had on each side and how divisive it has become. The so called liberals who hate the brothers so much that they now even support the regime responsible for imprisoning and torturing them for decades, and sadly it is looking more and more hopeless, the reason El Baradei has escaped while he can, as a coward

Really??? I think it can get far worse. The possibility that Egypt might slide into an Algeria or Syria like civil war seem more likely after today's events.LovelyLadyLux wrote:Can't really get any worse. Any details re: why?

@Stevepj - ok I guess my typing didn't communicate my sarcasm (Sorry I wasn't clear. I knew what I was thinking but it just didn't come out into the post)
I believe it is going to get mega mega worse. This is just another step into the dark depths of the known and the unthinkable. I'm just hoping Egypt doesn't slide into an all out civil war.

Re: Vice President Mohamed El Baradei has resigned
El Baradei might be a coward but he or his organization are still the chaotic mess they have always been. Left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. Here is a quote about the time he resigned in 'disgust':
"El Baradei's political movement, the anti-Islamist National Salvation Front, did not share his qualms, declaring that "Egypt has held its head high in the sky announcing victory over political groups that abuse religion".
http://in.reuters.com/article/2013/08/1 ... A320130814
'Head high' who are these 'liberals' and 'secularists' and what Egyptian would want them in government. Liberals, I think not!
