Mummification Museum Lectures 2013
The first lecture for this season will be this coming Sunday, 27th January at the usual time of 7pm.
It is by Violeta Pereyra from the Argentinian mission working in TT 49 Neferhotep. It will cover the conservation and laser cleaning of the wall decoration.
Having had the privilege to view the tomb last weekend I can say they have made amazing progress this season.

Re: Mummification Museum Lectures 2013
Once we have run out of speakers! Normally around April as most missions are finishing by then.
I think I should be able to get around 10 lectures if they are here long enough.

Thomas has been excavating in the Ptolemaic areas of Karnak and will hopefully be telling us about those also.

Re: Mummification Museum Lectures 2013
Hi Folk's,
I will ask, why no cameras and recording devices are allowed on this lesson. This lessons are open for public, my english are not so good, so I am happy to repeat the recorded lesson at home in my speed.
And, who can make some publishing with this bad material, so that the egyptians loose her right for the first publishing.
Please tell my a real reason.

Can no-one answer Stadelmann? He's new member asking question.
Why is he being ignored when everyone there is so learned on the subject?
Sorry Stadelmann.I would answer you if I knew anything about it.It seems though that you have asked a much too intelligent question!

Scottishtourist, you were active on the topic where it was explained, you could answer our new friend rather than blaming "everyone" as usual.Scottishtourist wrote:Can no-one answer Stadelmann? He's new member asking question.

Sorry if Stadelmann doesn't accept this as a real reason.
