Morning sunshine on the Nile
Comforts me and makes me smile
Sweet fruits growing on the tree
Flowers blooming for all to see.
Gone the winter, the corners turned
The Summers here that's what I've yearned

Out on the Bike and having fun times
Seeing all the mispelt signs
Stopping off for a glass of wine
Daydreaming of lovely times.
Historic Sites big and bold
Attract me to their magnetic fold.

On the boat the Nile so still
Giving up its secrets the nets are full
Children playing on the Banks
Such simple thing they offer thanks
The sun on the Theban Peaks begins to fall
Rolling down like a golden ball.

This is the Luxor that I adore
The peace and quiet I came here for
This bounty of life is free for all
Lets all pull together and answer a call
Support our City through thick and thin
And make it the great place for all to live in
