Smilies
Keefy, any chance you can add a 'tongue in cheek' smiley to the ones we already have? Please.
Still think its a shame we don't have the great collection of smilies to choose from these days that we had amassed on the old style forum.

(Tempted to use laughing smilie.)LivinginLuxor wrote:I hate Smilies!
I know you do, and overall I would agree with you. I do find though that at times they can help get the mood or tone of a post over in forums such as these.

Re: Smilies
So many of the really good old ones are missing, especially the animated ones.
Please sir, I want some more! :-)

Re: Smilies
PS: Is there any reason why the extra smilies have to be on three pages? Could they be put on just one, like they used to be, so it's easier to see them all?

Me too!LivinginLuxor wrote:I hate Smilies!
Never use them.I'd rather read a post in full than be distracted by an array of winking, blinking, animated little faces and figures!
I spend more time trying to work out what exactly they're trying to convey, and think they can sometimes detract from what the poster is trying to say.
I'm all for "straight"talking...without the animations and histrionics!

Re: Smilies
I don't use them because I prefer words!
However, I can foresee that in the future, someone may post a topic, and those who agree with it merely post a row of smiles, those who disagree post a row of angry faces, and those who are bored with the topic post a row of zzz's!
It would certainly stop a lot of arguments and back biting!

I might agree with you, but then we'd both be wrong!

Oops, I'd better put a on that in the absence of a tongue-in-cheek
