In light of the queens state visit - a good book from a brilliant writer, I remember reading" All of these people" and finding it incredibly moving.
As well as being a brilliant journalist and reporter, covering Rwanda and south Africa, he had his own demons ie alcohol to fight.

I intend reading this on a sojourn around France and the islands the next couple of weeks,and if it's as good as his other books it should be a great read
