Short of making black bean salsa and 10 bean soup - I'm a bit stuck! Got to find something good since they were a bit costly!

Black bean hummous!!! What a great idea . . . . and I have a few cans of black beans for some reason.Glyphdoctor wrote:Make black bean hummus.
Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

16 ounces canned black beans -- drained and rinsed
1/4 cup tahini
2 handfuls cilantro
2 cloves garlic
1/4 teaspoon cumin
1 lime
Combine beans, tahini, cilantro, garlic, cumin and juice of the lime in a
food processor. Process until smooth.

Serving Ideas : Serve with bread for dipping.
PS-If you are using Egyptian lemons you will want to use 4 or 5.
I call Cilantro the green leafy part and Coriander is the seeds (crushed or whole) . . . . I can get fresh Cilantro at the grocery and am growing it in my backyard so I have some now.Goddess wrote:Cilantro is what the Americans call Coriander.
