VE Day.

Got me thinking to my old man, George every new born male was called George, generations of us...

He never spoke much about the War, although we drove all over Europe.
He and his pal Bob both from The Latchmere Battersea decided to join up and thought that the RAMC
would be the safest bet, well wrong there, only 2 survivors of their original 17 returned, Bob & Dad.

Now ,I never learnt how Dad was able to by La Valletta and Bob, The Pheasant on Salisbury Plain.
They both went on to buy more, I was born in Southbourne Hotel overlooking the channel.
I was only young then, but older I pushed him to tell more, he once said 'he went into different concentration camps
under an American female Officer Dr, but always stopped talking when he started crying.

When I had The Tardis we were doing a film party launch for 'Tank Girl,

We dove it from Clerkenwell to my old pub in Little Venice down the A4 it had rubberized tracks,
and it was either Silver Jubilee or another VE Day celebration... 8)
