You can always rely on the Biased Broadcating Company not to show anything like this.

All I can see are screen shots (?) with video arrows that don't work.
It gives no subject indication.
Crewmeal, given that both the protesting women and the police have been villified, your second comment is still not that clear.

Re: This won't be broadcast in the UK
I seem to recall quite a few TV episodes (including BBC) of the police manhandling the women on Clapham Common.
Incidentally, it was ( or was supposed to be ) a vigil....not a protest.
From what I could see, a few of the attendees decided it would be a good opportunity to vent their antipathy to the police. You always get a few of those at any public gathering.
The police were acting to enforce the law and break up a gathering which risked spreading the virus which most of us have endured a year of isolation in order to contain. The attendees obviously had little thought for anyone else....only “their need” to express sympathy with a murdered woman and the abuse of women generally .
The issue is whether the police were unduly heavy handed. Not having been there, I can only comment that, if you want to see police brutality, try watching the French or Spanish police breaking up a demo. Or for truly impressive use of force....Myanmar or Thailand! I didn’t see any officers so much as wielding a baton on Clapham Common.
But I do know something of police arrest techniques, where they are dealing with an unarmed but belligerent protester. It’s to use several officers, to minimise the risk of the offender being inadvertently hurt!
Unfortunately, it can come across as excessive.....a case of appearances deceiving.
Perhaps @ MT ( ex cop) or @ Who2 (ex con) have a view on the matter.....although their experiences are somewhat historic now

I was on my phone at the time and tried clicking the arrows but they were dead.
Now I know what it's about I'm not in too much of a hurry to watch. I think it's probably another case of their being two sides to every story but the press trying to make mischief in between.

Thank you. I did wonder why it looked different from my laptop. I've not looked yet though.

Re: This won't be broadcast in the UK
I'm all in favour of freedom of speech and to take part in peaceful demonstrations, however, those, in any country, that protest against that country's virus containment laws, which inevitably turn violent with total disregard to social distancing and the wearing of masks, should have the full weight of the law placed on their shoulders. Same with this so called show of support and solidarity towards the unacceptable treatment towards women by the animalistic behaviour of some men towards women. Yes it's bad, yes its unacceptable, and yes more needs to be done to help stamp it out, but in this case, watching the news footage, some of those so called ' supporters of the victimes' did not hold back towards the police that were there just to do their job and uphold the laws of this country, the same laws that are there to protect those at risk ladies. And yet they displayed the same level of violence towards the police that they were protesting to stop, .and did not wear masks, thus putting innocent people at risk, no social distancing, again putting folk at risk. They were soon caught up in the maelstrom of violent behaviour and and antisocial behaviour, making it difficult to support their sentiments. All it showed was total disrespect towards the young lady that lost her life, in my opinion.
Life is your's to do with as you wish- do not let other's try to control it for you. Count Dusak- 1345.
