The music is by Enya who is/was a member of a wonderful group called Clannad.

The pictures are so sad, even the last one which has someone feeling curious about something has someone in the background who is far from happy.

The photos made me feel thankful for who I am. Thanks keefy.

Thanks LL....seem to remember them now....the saddest for me is the one of the little boy, coupled with that music, it truly is poignant! But all are wonderful. Hope we get more....'cos I certainly can't produce anything like this.

That song always sends shivers down my spine......

Who can say where the road goes
Where the day flows only time
And who can say if your love grows
As your heart chose only time

Who can say why your heart sighs
As your love flies only time
And who can say why your heart cries
When your love lies only time

Who can say when the roads meet
That they might be in your heart
And who can say when the day sleeps
If the night keeps all your heart
Night keeps all your heart

Who can say if your love grows
As your heart chose only time
And who can say where the road goes
Where the day flows only time

Who knows only time
Who knows only time
Heav'n has no rage, like love to hatred turn'd, Nor Hell a fury, like a woman scorn'd.

It is beautiful. Here, it is the theme music for the victims and tragedy of 911. That's what I see when I hear it.

It was too much for me PRchick, the combination of those terrable pictures, and that beautiful music made me brake down and cry, I actually sobbed for those poor dying people. I've witnessed human devastation before, but never on a scale like this. My eyes were so full of tears it was impossible to see the keys to turn it off, I had to look away, I couldn't take any more. I would defy anyone with a heart, not to shed a tear after seeing this appalling episode in human history. Those poor innocent people. God bless them every one.

I would think we'd all be pretty shallow if we'd even began to forget those images after only a few years....!
:(

There were some tremendously horrific images to be seen in IRAQ too....:(

[face=Georgia]Let's hope we're not about to see the same thing in IRAN ...!!!!![/face]

Well, bless you Wiz, Trixx and Fablux. Anytime there is anything about 911 here, this music is played because it is so comforting. Keefy's thought provoking images show that we connect at a very human level with people all over the world.

The bombing started at 3am," [said a sister-in-law of the groom] from her bed in the emergency ward at Ramadi general hospital, 60 miles west of Baghdad. "We went out of the house and the American soldiers started to shoot us. They were shooting low on the ground and targeting us one by one," she said. She ran with her youngest child in her arms and her two young boys, Ali and Hamza, close behind. As she crossed the fields a shell exploded close to her, fracturing her legs and knocking her to the ground.

She lay there and a second round hit her on the right arm. By then her two boys lay dead. "I left them because they were dead," she said. One, she saw, had been decapitated by a shell...

By the time the sun rose on Wednesday over the Rakat family house, the raid had claimed 42 lives...

Among the dead were 27 members of the extended Rakat family, their wedding guests and even the band of musicians hired to play at the ceremony... 11 of the dead were women and 14 were children."
