At last, my boredom is eased and looking forwards to Friday

Post by Dusak »

Last few days I've been bored out of my skull. Internet off for nearly three days, power cuts and only complete cack on the TV to pass my time. Yesterday my friend called by, she knowing my status after my Dear Margery call to her, bemoaning the fact that I only had one Abinol extra in so couldn't top myself. So she brought me a KitKat ice cream cone, which she ended up eating herself as she suddenly developed a sore throat as I said to her that I may have it later.
I remembered that I hadn't checked my e-mails due to the disconnection, so decided to use my phone. Found this e-mail on it, which, shock horror, threatens to expose my time on the bed stroking my pussy, [Alfie] to all my contacts, family and works colleagues. But, if I follow his/her instructions I will be saved from exposure, whichj Ican only guess at would be far worse than exposing myself in front of my friends in 16.4 format. So I sent a reply of ''go and **** yourself ****tard.''

Two curious things though, my so called password, which it isn't and never has been, was part of my UK address in the UK many years ago. Second, the e-mail only came up on my Samsung, not my main e-mail page, so transferred it over to another none important address so I could copy it and hopefully entertain you all. Another thing is, that about three years ago Alfie, for reasons only known to himself, decided to take a dislike to the camera lens on this laptop, so I stuck a piece of masking tape over it, problem solved. So this interloper must have ex ray vision as well as a demented mind and an empty bank account.

I will cut to the chase. I'm aware fairclough is your pass word. More to the point, I know your secret and I have evidence of this. You do not know me personally and no one paid me to examine you.

It is just your hard luck that I discovered your misdemeanor. Actually, I actually installed a malware on the adult video clips (adult porn) and you visited this site to experience fun (you know what I mean). While you were watching videos, your web browser started operating as a Rdp (Remote control desktop) with a key logger which gave me accessibility to your display as well as webcam. Right after that, my software program collected all your contacts from messenger, social networks, and e-mail.

Next, I put in more time than I probably should've exploring into your life and made a double screen video. First part shows the video you had been viewing and second part displays the recording of your webcam (its you doing nasty things).

Frankly, I am willing to forget exactly about you and let you continue with your life. And my goal is to give you 2 options that can make it happen. Those two option is with the idea to ignore this letter, or just pay me $2900. Let’s understand those two options in more details.

Option 1 is to ignore this email message. Let's see what will happen if you opt this path. I will definitely send your video recording to all of your contacts including close relatives, co-workers, etc. It doesn't protect you from the humiliation your family will need to face when friends find out your sordid videos from me.

Second Option is to send me $2900. We’ll name this my “privacy fee”. Now lets see what happens if you opt this path. Your secret will remain your secret. I'll delete the recording immediately. You continue on with your daily life like nothing ever happened.

Now you may be thinking, “I’ll just go to the cops”. Let me tell you, I've covered my steps to ensure this message can't be linked time for me and yes it won't stay away from the evidence from destroying your lifetime. I'm not trying to dig a hole in your pocket. I am just looking to get paid for the time I put into investigating you. Let's hope you decide to produce pretty much everything disappear completely and pay me the confidentiality fee. You'll make the payment through Bitcoins (if you don't know how, search "how to buy bitcoins" on google)

Required Amount: $2900
Receiving Bitcoin Address: 1ycRDEbXCD1nXXoEz8pfQJjDbZSALvH29
(It is case sensitive, so copy and paste it carefully)

Expalin nobody what will you use the bitcoin for or they might not give it to you. The process to have bitcoin usually takes a day or two so do not delay.
I've a special pixel within this email, and now I know that you've read through this mail. You now have 2 days to make the payment. If I do not receive the Bitcoins, I will certainly send out your video to all of your contacts including friends and family, co-workers, and many others. You better come up with an excuse for friends and family before they find out. Having said that, if I do get paid, I will erase the video and all other proofs immediately. It is a non-negotiable offer, so do not ruin my time and yours. The clock is ticking.

Dusak, your only mistake was to even reply to this piece of shite, they/he/her/it are just opportunistic scammers firing out hundreds or thousands of such blackmailing emails. I doubt if there are many people in the world that have not seen porn on the web in one form or another so you would hardly be unique if you had watched something. There is malicious software that could activate a web cam and people should be aware of that, but this sort of scam is designed to make the recipient panic into thinking that they have some sort of hold over you, but even if it were true, so what? And does anyone think that paying these scumbags would actually achieve anything, they would just be back again for more, people should put these sort of things where it belongs, in the recycle bin and then empty it. :stp

I have had a couple of these in the past month, just blocked and deleted them, then filtered to spam box. Have not checked my spam box recently. Did find out though that had 5 BOT attacks, or thats what my security informed me of. So could not use internet banking, have gone on to my IPad now for that until I get my main laptop back from the repair shop. Also my internet provider is in the process of changing my router IP. There are some stupid people looking at you all the time. You don't think it could be the authorities trying for more cash "D"do you???

Remember don't open any attachments that come from unfamiliar emails, messages etc. There's a lot in the British press about scam calls and emails purporting to come from 'banks'.

The good news is PPI is finishing in August next year so we won't be bombared with all that shite!

There was no attachment to this e-mail, and the only reason I opened it was the first two lines read as a normal e-mail. As I stated Horus, there is a piece of masking tape over the camera to stop Alfie clawing at it. There is zero of importance on this one, all my banking and personal stuff including my social media sites, contacts, are on the new one that has a good security cover. And, for those that are wondering, I've had little or no interest in watching porn.

If the sender actually had any compromising videos of you (garnered via your webcam) surely they would have sent you a " taster"?

I agree with Horus that it's a phishing exercise and should simply be binned.

For many people who received such an e-mail would be quite worrying to say the least, but obviously not you, and I'm sure most of us, as with people over a certain age have the brains to be very careful. Making such a statement says little for the younger generation though, who we're initially brought up with a Play Station + Lara Croft.

Earlier this year I watched a couple of programs from the now very popular series called Black Mirror from Netflix. Have read Dusak's initial post on this subject, the program 'shut Up and Dance' seems quite believable. A review by the Daily Mirror stated 'With the technology we have now, this could happen today'.

I suppose most of the whole series is based on satire with regards the modern day living. If you do watch this above mentioned program do so from start to finish, I think it's one one the best programs made in a long time. It starts with an opening of an e-mail similar to the one Dusak received,..........be prepared to be shocked, the program is quite dark and deep,.....but quite believable now days.

Download Avira Phanthom IP, and change the IP number to another Country when you want to browse the internet or get ESET Security at 20 squid a year they cover you for everything. I let mine run out 2 weeks ago and got 5 BOT attacks, when I renewed the first thing I got was notice of these 5 BOT attacks. If I had not let the security run out, the attacks would have been detected and blocked

Obviously they couldn't give me a teaser of something that does not exist, but having thought about it, I would of bathed in the notoriety that it would have generated, hoping that those that viewed my antics would have a zoom facility on their TV or laptop.
