To be pedantic - Jesus was not called Jesus in his own country - he was called Joshua and Jesus was a latinisation of his name. That is, of course, if he ever existed in the first place.
I might agree with you, but then we'd both be wrong!

It doesnt really matter whether jesus or Joshua existed, as he certainly does now. I am more of the opinion that where there is smoke there is fire, as such Jesus or Joshua, or a man of his calibre I am sure was probably there at some time.
Just as well , I reckon, as the Old testament was pretty scary. At least he brought some more moderate and enlightened teaching through. I was reading the Nag Hammadi texts the other day, about the teachings at the time.

There is also some interesting research on the DNA of the body and its co-relation to ancient stories and myths. The double helix often seen as a double ladder. So by exploring our self( as encoded in our dna) we can eventually ascend the ladder to enlightenment, perhaps unlocking the codes of our own potential. Double strands, one for the Mother and one for the father. The Cosmic serpent. The Kundalini, the Mehen.

of Neith is in the MEHEN of Shesmu, she divides the lords and separates the ladies.” It
is very common in the Pyramid Texts that body parts are assigned to certain deities.
Shesmu, the god of the wine-press, has obviously nothing to do with MEHEN or the
ascending of Queen Neith. It is probably an ancient misreading of “seshem” - “to escort”

What is the point of a life spent in Meditation ? It's a waste of a vehicle in my mind.
We are here to live our lives in joy and LOVE. That is meant to be the Human experience. A world where no one is allowed to suffer, a world where all realities are valid. Unity of the ONE would not be through compliance of so called rules and laws, it would be through acceptance of all others actions, allowing them to be free without judgement. In other words, experience everything there is to experience.
The religions you mention are ALL man made, "follow me, I know the way", that is what these leaders are saying. also if they preach ANY form of fear, no matter how subtle then it is a lie, because fear, like life is just an illusion.
I have no doubt hat they may have gone through some kind of holy experience and then felt that they must rush out and tell the world all about it. But Why ? Maybe that experience was for them and them alone. God is a very personal matter, because he/she is YOU.
I may argue that Jmanuell / Jesus /Joshua did infact exist, I do not doubt that someone very much like him existed, and I have found proof here in Wales for the existence of his parents.
BUT was he self promoting ? I doubt it. He probably lived his life and people observed and took notes. The chineese whispers probably did the rest.
We all receive some kind of help if we ask for it, I do and I am most grateful for that help. I have had experiences but I don't tell people of them because I know they are just for me. I once tried to tell someone of what had happened and they did not believe me, and it took me a while to realise that this was just for me. It was relevant to my life only, at that time.
Life is very personal, we need to find both the male and female side, the duality in life. and by Male / Female, I do not mean gender, per say, i mean the way the general outlook and attitudes towards life, as well as the emotional side, so we can live through the experiences these traits of the genders supply.
Treat a woman as second class, then you will look down on her, instead of trying to understand her emotions, her Love, her needs. You need to walk in her shoes, and to a point, you can do that if you drop the illusion that a woman is somehow a second class citizen of this world, as promoted in many religions.. Now, a man can argue that he will never experience the wonder of giving birth, he will always be the observer and at best play a small part in helping that woman give birth to a child.
Male / Female is a state of mind..
Ok, we have drifted off topic, but it's all relevant.
When I come back to this topic. I will try to explain some of the Symbology of the religion of Egypt and will attempt to show you how it is infact NOT a religion, once again, the hand of deception has been fooling people for a long time. The Demons have been at work, infact they are busier today than they have ever been, and it has required a lot less effort on their part. I would argue that it is TOO easy for them.
I fall into their traps every now and again, I hate it when that happens, but then I thank the demons after I realise what I did. Life lessons..
The Ancients had powers far beyond our imagination, and we too can rise to awaken some of those powers. Infact, one person did, about 12 years ago. she did something that she thought would help save mankind, sadly she was mistaken because the human information she possessed was incorrect. she held a common misconception and exercised her power.
Our understanding of life has been limited to a great degree, our concept of how other life forms can exist is extremely limited.
One Job to do in life. remember who you are. You cant really tell others exactly how to do that because each and every one of the 7 billion people on this planet is living in their own "UNIQUE" reality, it is their own personal reality. What I have just said is part of the key to understanding life.
So, Why do your GURS and Jesus's need to come here to save us ? They are here to advise, maybe point out a few things that are not quite right with the life you are living in, Mostly they point out the demons,(society) so the demons kill them.
There have been many messiahs, some get noticed more than others.
I rate Bill Hicks and John Lennon WAY above Jesus, Buddah Mohammed, krishna.
One or 2 of my messiah's are still alive today, but when I read their life story, I realise that the messages they had were almost not transmitted. Demons at work once again..

Some experiences are too personal to be shared, and sometimes they can be lessened in the sharing.
There can be a sacredness, or a symbolic meaning that needs to be assimilated before it understood.
I like to contemplate, meditate, research and assimilate different topics such as this, Try it on for size. Live with it for a bit and see what happens.
I see the journey through the underworld as a journey through the self. What we have inherited from our people, our culture, our ancestors and our own lives. Many of the "enemies" are strong metaphorical images for the type of trials that one comes up against in , in the quest for " power" whether it is of ones self, or over a Kingdom .
Eg the serpent, that has many heads. ( cant remember the name at this point.) But is a great metaphor for the people you come across in life, that present many faces. Depending on who they are talking to, or what it is they want at the time.
Many lessons can be shown by these journeys. Many journeys even through the same place are different. Not all the Kings have had the same experience, as evidenced by the differences on the walls of the tombs. Some things stay the same, some things change. As we are have many similarities, but some differences as well.
The egyptian journey is shown through the body of Nut, the Mother, which is often seen as the unconscious mind by philosophers. The place where all creation begins. Where everything we manifest in our lives first starts. Sometimes without even noticing it. The place where power is to be found, many native cultures see the underworld as this.
Look forward to your interpretations of the Egyptian symbols.

Am homebound at the moment. Havent travelled for what seems like too long. Would like to go to Spain.

Well many have to pack their bags as they have lost their homes or their livelihood. I know in NZ, many are heading to Australia to make a living as their own country does not have jobs for them.
Upheaval is all around the world at present, as is also evidenced in Egypt. Lets just hope it is an UP heaval ( up the mountain/ ladder/ summit) we all go, rather than the other way. It is always nice to think that upheaval serves a positive purpose- leading us all to a better life ( or paradise) than what we are experiencing before the UP heaval.
( sorry for my puns, but just realised carting the solar barque up the ladder, steps, or whatever to the heavens or paradise, is a heaving up, or a "up" heaval and am going with the analogy).
When faced with uncertain times, we often have to uplift everything and move onwards, hopefully upwards. It is chaos that often creates many positive changes as it lifts us out of complacency and stirs us into action. The status quo is no longer comfortable.
With many religions, or beleifs, spiritual transformation is followd by ritual or physical action to manifest it into the world. One can have a realisation, but unless they act on it it will not manifest in their lives. The knowing often has to be followed by the doing.
The metaphor becomes manifest to anchor it in.

You are right Aromagician, it is an UP heaval.
There's lot's of negative energy leaving the world right now. That's what was keeping me off the forum's for three weeks.
In my quest for the truth, I have to go into some dark places from time to time.
I have a lot on my mind, and a new dark place to go that could literally bring my entire world crashing down around me.. God favours the brave.. I hope..He's even given me rain and mist today, just to add Special Effects. Oh Joy !!
People are wakeing slowly, or they were, it seems to be moving faster now.
The lies of Authority and the ways they created ( paths) have lead nowhere, a DEAD end.
Governments around the world were told to issue the truth, they were told to "expect us" and many did not listen, but some did.
the message now is that it is "too late to 'expect' us".
So, I will get around to explaining the "God's" of Egypt.
Dont get me wrong, they had a religion, but many aspects of the great knowledge of these people have been deliberatly integrated into the religion to hide thier knowledge., A smoke and mirrors trick once again..

Dont get me wrong, they had a religion, but many aspects of the great knowledge of these people have been deliberatly integrated into the religion to hide thier knowledge., A smoke and mirrors trick once again..

It is interesting, as I in my research on ascension / ladders/ summits to heaven etc, I found the Maori people of NZ sing a waiata ( song) when a person is dying, or when a child is being born that tells them to come by the rainbow bridge also.
On the same site there is a Vision of Black Elk. note he hears voices, has a vision, then he has to reneact the vision perform it on earth for the vision to manifest in and amongst his people.
WHich is why ritual is often used , physical representations of spiritual concepts are made, sculptured, built.

I must admit today my symbolist eyes are rather weary. I have been analysing contemplating and studying symbols and metaphors etc and in the end I must say that whats it all about anyway?
Sometimes it just appears as a confusing muddling illusion that in truth is revealing what? How we as humans fight to survive on earth ( fighting Apepi through the underworld), Doing everything we can to get on top (to the heavens)?
I have been thinking about the concept of the Saviour.
The one who can carry everyone to heaven, be it Osiris, Horus, buddha, jesus, Mohammaed whoever.
If everyone contains the divine self, then shouldnt they be able to get there anyway?
Or is it just that it is too hard to make the effort. And why is it that so? Why should it be too hard?

I must say, I am not really following what the ATlantis topic has to do with resurrection and ascension?
Atlantis is a story of a place that disappeared under water.
amazingly often stories and myths can lead to amazing archaeological discoveries. But how that ties in with the quest for spiritual enligtenment, which surely is the meaning of ascension- I am unsure...

I was reading this article in National Geographic, whre it talked about the Axismundi. The spiritual center of the earth for the Lakota Sioux people.
Just as in many traditions, there is also a place on the earth which is the " physical " center of the spiritual concept.As above so below.
Yet read what has happened to it..
After that we spoke of the treaties made and broken between the U.S. and the Sioux, and that led naturally to a conversation about the Black Hills, which the Oglala consider their axis mundi, the center of their spiritual world. The 1868 Fort Laramie Treaty guaranteed the Sioux possession of the hills, but after gold was discovered there in 1874, prospectors swarmed in, and the U.S. government quickly seized the land. The Sioux refused to accept the legitimacy of the seizure and fought the takeover for more than a century. On June 30, 1980, in United States v. Sioux Nation of Indians, the U.S. Supreme Court upheld an award of $17.5 million for the value of the land in 1877, along with 103 years’ worth of interest, together totaling $106 million. But the Sioux rejected the payment, insisting that the Black Hills would never be for sale.
And then White Plume asked me to consider the seemingly calculated insult of Mount Rushmore. “The leaders of the people who have broken every treaty with my people have their faces carved into our most holy place. What is the equivalent? Do you have an equivalent?” I could offer none.
Now here you can see their sundance tree, which is also very much like the maypole ( except people are attached by their skins...

Okay, so once they get up the ladder, or the axis mundi are they there? Apparently not. Then they must merge with the higher self, or higher power.
Perhaps this is what is intimated in the christian ritual we are left with called communion. When a person gains a Saints name, and enters the state of communion with God.
Once there then what? May texts talk of a celestial chariots. The Egyptians had the Sahu, the star body which would carry Osiris to the Orion stars.
Or there is also the Merkaba. said to be a star shaped tetrahedron and the vehicle of those that have ascended.
