New tombs
Been to Deir el Medina and the three new tombs today, now in one of them I saw paintings of three different people wearing a white wig. No they weren't wigs that had not yet been painted they were white. Never see this before. Anyone know anything about it. Also the clothes they wore not the usual plain white but some with designs on them. Is there any books or reference material that can point me in the direction of different clothing worn through the ages and if different clothes were worn according to position in life?

Re: New tombs
Sounds like it might be TT 277 Amenimenet.
If so, there's a comprehensive description at :

Certainly plenty of colourfully attired individuals in this tomb....though I don't recall the white wigs.
